Sales Executive (Small Repairs)

Role Description

Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

Our client is looking for a sales executive to join their small repairs team to support the team in selling repair and health and safety upgrades to their new and existing clients. This role will be joining a fantastic team based in Sidcup that are one of the leaders in their industry and have a great atmosphere and working environment.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

  • Monthly sales target to be met by selling repair contracts to existing and new clients to their agreed mark-up rates.
  • To provide quotations to a wide variety of clients from engineer recommendations and examination reports. Quotations to be issued after liaising with field engineers and sourcing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors where necessary.
  • To offer professional, best-practice advice to the client to ensure their product is reliably maintained and complies with H&S legislation.
  • To update internal computer management systems and spreadsheets for the efficient management of their maintenance portfolio.
  • To attend client meetings in person at their office or on site or via video call.
  • To communicate with clients, engineers, suppliers and sub-contractors over the telephone and email on a daily basis.
  • To keep abreast of the latest regulations, guidelines and technology updates in relation to the industry.
  • At all times to perform the duties of the role in professional and courteous manner.

Knowledge/Experience

  • Lift industry knowledge ideal.
  • Sales experience.

Skills

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills externally and as part of a small team.
  • Highly organised.
  • Commercially and customer focussed with an eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated to achieve sales target.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Strong literacy and IT skills.
