Office Manager

Role Description

Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm, 35 hours a week

Office Based in central London (after successful training Hybrid working if offered with one day working from home)  

Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience

Our client, based in stunning offices near Charing Cross Station, is looking to recruit an experienced office manager to join their team. They are looking for a candiate with previous experience with office management (including some basic IT support), recruitment and some PA support experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Office administration responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with the security team on operational matters relating to the building
  • Being responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies & IT Equipment, for example ordering business cards, managing electrical testing and liaising with the building’s cleaning company
  • Liaising with the company’s IT provider to address and troubleshoot potential IT issues

Operational responsibilities include:

  • Supporting with internal meetings and external events
  • Managing and administering the recruitment process from start to finish
  • Onboarding new joiners
  • Offboarding staff leavers 
  • Administering people related documents, such as approving annual leave and creating offer letters etc
  • Supporting with compliance training
  • Acting as the company’s First Aider and Fire Marshal
  • Assisting the CFO with any ad-hoc requests
  • Supporting the Executive Assistant with social meetings and external events

PA responsibilities include:

  • Global diary management (only when Executive Assistant is on annual leave)
  • Working with third party travel consultants to arrange both international and national travel 
  • Submitting expenses for the Executive Assistant
