HR & Recruitment Administrator
Role Description
Location: 1 day per week in the Stratford, working from home other days
Hours: 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Temporary week on week for around three months with the potential to go permeant (depending on performance)
Working Pattern:
- Monday – Thursday: 12:00pm – 5:00pm (30-minute break)
- Friday: 10:30am – 5:00pm (30-minute break)
Please note: The first 1–2 weeks will be office-based for training.
About the Role
Our client is looking for an organised and detail-oriented HR & Recruitment Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis initially. This role sits within their HR function and plays a key part in supporting end-to-end recruitment administration and onboarding processes.
You will ensure a smooth and compliant hiring journey for candidates, from offer stage through to onboarding, while maintaining accurate records and delivering a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating recruitment onboarding processes for new starters
- Preparing and issuing employment contracts and offer documentation
- Conducting Right to Work checks in line with UK legislation
- Processing DBS checks and tracking progress
- Requesting and following up on employment references
- Maintaining accurate HR records and systems
- Liaising with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
- Supporting general HR administrative tasks as required
About You
- Previous experience in HR administration or recruitment support
- Strong understanding of onboarding processes and compliance requirements (e.g. Right to Work, DBS checks)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
