Bid Executive (12-Month Maternity Cover)

Role Description

Full-time, 12 month Fixed-Term Contract
Monday to Friday   8:00am – 5:00pm

Our client is looking for a Bid Executive to join their Sales Team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality bids and proposals across a variety of projects, helping them to win new business across multiple sectors. This is a great role for anyone who is a meticulous communicator with a flair for persuasive writing and a passion for teamwork who thrives under deadlines and love juggling multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Leading and coordinating bid submissions from start to finish
  • Collaborating with the sales and operations teams to craft compelling, winning proposals
  • Managing bid timelines, milestones, and stakeholder inputs
  • Overseeing the full bid process – from PQQ to post-tender submissions
  • Uploading and managing documentation through client portals
  • Maintaining the bid library, including case studies and team CVs
  • Supporting interviews, presentations, and business development events
  • Handling general administration duties to support the sales and bid process

What You’ll Bring –

  • At least 1 year of experience in bid/tender coordination (Construction or FM background preferred)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and persuasive copywriting skills
  • Excellent English editing and proofreading capabilities
  • The ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and adapt as needed
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • A flexible approach to working hours during peak submission periods
