Role Description

Temporary to potential permanent (based on performance)

Monday to Friday    8am – 5pm

Our client based in Bexleyheath is looking for a strong administrator to join their team to support the head of HSQE.

Key Duties –

  • Assist in the development and implementation of workplace HSQE documentation, including policies and procedures.
  • Perform regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate ongoing safety training sessions for colleagues.
  • Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities to ensure documentation is up to date and compliant with regulations.
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to determine causes and to find ways to prevent them in the future.
  • Be party to safety meetings and committees, encouraging colleague participation and feedback on HSQE matters.
  • Distribute safety equipment, tooling, and personal protective gear to appropriate colleagues, ensuring proper fit, face-fit, and usage.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ergonomic interventions in the workplace to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Other duties from time to time as related to the requirements of the role.

Key Skills Needed –

  • Have a strong understanding of technology and software.
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft skills including excel.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to consult and negotiate effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well with minimal supervision.
